A woman cleans windows 5 storeys up whilst clinging to flimsy window frames


Arthur was sorting, fixing and preserving aquatic cave fauna which involved a trip to the local hospital to acquire some menthol crystals used to relax soft bodied aquatic invertibrates (flatworms, leeches and snails).

Long Gu Dong

Bruce, Dave and Emerson returned to Long Gu Dong equipped with a couple of Metz flashguns and Firefly 3's to capture the nature of the river inside. (de=rigg, photo, survey)

Zhanghai leads Graham to the entrance of Liu Jia (family name of the local residents) which is 800 metres further up the road from Long Gu Dong.

Xiao Xi He Valley – Gan Dong

Moha, Kutya and Marci went back to the "Chimney Cave". They continued surveying the main passage which finished with boulders and a muddy sump. On they way back they surveyed a side passage, and another walk-in passage. A total of 850m passage was surveyed and another 200m was explored.

Jianshi
The Jianshi team (Tony H, Eddie, John W) explored and surveyed Hong Yan Dong (Red Rock Cave), near Hong Yan town. Some leads remain for further exploration
